About Storybook Birthdays
My name is Michelle Goodson and I created this business in 2010 when my daughter was just 3 years old. She loved fairytales and I loved reading them to her. For her 3rd Birthday I thought it would magical to have her favorite princess come to the party and bring her a book. I was right! I trained a young lady to entertain her and read a story. And every day after that my little girl wanted that story read to her until she memorized every word.
I knew this was special. Everyone at her party loved it and encouraged me to do this this for other children. Ever since we've been improving our services, hiring and training more skilled actors and collecting and creating more beautiful costumes.
What's even more fun is making this a family business. My husband does the heavy lifting, my mom made our costumes for years, and now my daughter who tested our first party is grown and performing for other children when she's not studying.
